What’s happening at Circles of Willow?

Circles of Willow is a unique, holistic wellbeing provider. We work in two areas, Women’s Circles and Neurodiverse Physiotherapy. In our Women’s Circles we hold space for women to connect with their inner wisdom. In a beautiful environment, we engage in mindfulness, enjoy connection, and explore meditation.

Our neurodiverse physiotherapy provides physiotherapy from the age of four. Through exercise, mindfulness, and connection we aim to strengthen the body, improve balance and coordination, and aid self-regulation. Our breathing or counting chairs and quiet corner give parents and their children an opportunity to calm their nervous systems.

Term 3 dates:

-Circles Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m

-Parent child physio group Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Individual assessments and treatment by appointment.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Available to karate and tai chi students, these 30 minute or 1 hour sessions are held on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. The benefit of private lessons is that you receive tuition that is specifically tailored to your needs. Parents often chose private lessons for their children. The individual tuition ensures a rapid uptake of basic skills that can then be practiced and developed in class. Please email Bree here or call 0419364320 for more information and bookings.

GOJU SEISHIN GRADING SYSTEM -

We often get questions from students about belt colours and gradings. Below gives an illustration of how our karate grading looks leading up to a full Black belt (Dan level).

When sewing stripes on belts, they should be placed - one on each side for each grading level. Example above - 9th kyu = 1 green strip one each side, then 7th kyu add the second green strip on each side. The first stripes should be sewn on approx 5cm from the end of the belt.
